Bonifacio Castaño received his PhD in Physics from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 1985. He has collaborated with multiple international research organizations, for example with CERN in Geneva, where he worked as a research fellow in High Energy Physics from 1985 to 1986. Since 1989 he is staff professor at the Department of Physics and Mathematics at the Alcalá University of Madrid (UAH). His research interests include computer science, wireless communications, robotics, and genetic programming applied to stocks markets analysis.
